Opening of Slussen
12:00 June 6, 2025
Slussen, Stockholm, Sweden
The Slussen Drinking Fountain is a public design project that combines water sustainability, function, and site-specific aesthetics.
Located in one of Stockholm’s busiest transit areas, the fountain provides free access to high-quality tap water, encouraging a shift away from bottled alternatives. Designed for Stockholm Konst, the installation is tailored to the site’s urban flow and identity, reinforcing water as both a shared resource and theme. Constructed in polished stainless steel, the fountain is accessible, safe, and serves as a practical and symbolic element in Slussen’s ongoing urban transformation.
